Brazoswood High School’s 2025 prom, themed “Bucs & Diamonds are Forever,” will take place on Saturday, April 12 from 7–11 p.m. at the Dow Academic Center at Brazosport College. Open to juniors, seniors, and their dates, the night will highlight school pride and timeless style.
“This year’s theme was actually voted on by the senior class,” Assistant Principal Barbara Johnston said. “It connects our school’s history with a classic James Bond movie, Diamonds are Forever, and phrases like ‘Buc Forever’ that alumni still say.”
Seniors attend free of charge but must RSVP through their Google Classroom and juniors must purchase tickets from the second or third floor office. For students who choose to bring a non-Brazoswood guest, they must turn in a completed guest form by March 28, must be between the ages of 14 and 20, and must have a valid photo ID
“Early ticket sales are from March 18–28 at $55 each or $100 for two,” Johnston said. “Guests won’t be admitted without a guest form and ID, as safety is a priority, and we want to make sure everything runs smoothly.”
For many students, this event highlights the ending of their time within high school, making it an extremely meaningful experience, and one that they would not want to miss.
“I’m extremely excited about taking prom pictures and having dinner with my friends this year,” senior Kyrie Morgan said. “It’s one of our last big things together before we graduate.”
With Buccaneer colors, shimmering décor, and a strong sense of tradition, Brazoswood’s 2025 prom promises to be a meaningful and memorable night for everyone attending.
“Senior prom is something you always look back on and talk about,” Morgan said. “I’m excited for it to be one of the most magical nights of my life.”
