COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — A man was found dead inside a Colorado Springs home Saturday, and police say one of the women who reported the death has been arrested and charged in connection with the case.

Investigators were called to a home on Tappan Drive near Potter Drive and Palmer Parker Boulevard after two women went to the Colorado Springs Police Operations Center and said a man was dead inside. When officers went to the residence, they found the man there and turned the case over to the department’s homicide unit.

Police say two women reported the death at the operations center

According to Colorado Springs police, the first public sign of trouble came when two women showed up at the Police Operations Center and told officers that a man had died inside the home. That prompted police to head to the residence and check the scene for themselves.
